(KNSI) – A two-alarm fire on February 3rd in Luxemburg Township is thought to be related to the furnace.
Around 7:00 p.m. one of the homeowners returned from being out to find the heat was not on. She called her husband to get instructions on restarting the furnace and noticed shortly after that smoke was coming out of the heating vents in another room, prompting her to dial 9-1-1.
A press release from the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says the Eden Valley and Watkins Fire Departments responded, along with Watkins Ambulance. There is no damage estimate from the incident. The fire remains under investigation.
The house is located on the 14000 block of Kramer Road.
