(KNSI) – A St. Cloud school has gotten a passing grade from the Minnesota Agriculture in the Classroom Foundation.
All Saints Academy is one of just 17 in the state to receive a 2023 Agricultural Literacy Grant in conjunction with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. The award is for the “From the Ground Up” program by STEM Tech instructor Courtney Jones.
The purpose of the grants is to reward schools for adding an agricultural aspect to normal courses. Tending community gardens and highlighting careers in farming are a few examples of programs that were selected.
