(KNSI) — A foundation supporting extracurricular activities in the St. Cloud Area School District is getting ready for one of its biggest annual fundraisers to return after a two-year hiatus.
The Local Education and Activities Foundation is bringing back its Night of the Stars Fundraiser on February 10th and 11th. The event features kids performing on stage, with ticket proceeds going to the foundation. LEAF Executive Director Bruce Hentges tells KNSI’s Bob Hughes the kids put on a great show. “It’s always been fun to see what kind of talented kids we have. It blows me away-especially someone like me who has no musical ability at all. And I would say, super courageous. I don’t know how many of us can can get up there in front of an audience.”

Last year, LEAF donated $260,000 in grants to different programs in District 742.
