(KNSI) — The 11th Annual St. Cloud Craft Beer Tour is coming up on January 21st, featuring nearly 60 brewers and around 250 different drinks to try.
Executive Director of Events Cole “The Beer Man” Erie says every event is a chance to try something new. “It really comes down to the beer. That’s why we’re all here. The breweries are constantly innovating. They’re constantly coming up with new flavors, infusions and collaborations amongst one another. It’s so cool to see.”
He says there’s something for everyone’s tastebuds. “Whether you are a craft beer drinker or not, this event is for you. Because I challenge you and say, you just haven’t found a beer that you like yet.”
Beer makers are competing for five trophies at this year’s event:
The Brewers Cup (best specialty beers voted on by VIP ticket holders)
Best Beer
Best Brewery
Best Not beer (any alcoholic drink that’s not a beer or cider)
Best Cidery
Tickets are on sale at Coborn’s and Cash Wise Liquor in St. Cloud. VIP tickets get you inside an hour early to sample brews, access to specialty beers and a swag bag. General admission is from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.
This year’s theme is black and yellow plaid. Part of the proceeds will go to support the Nicolas P. Koenig Hero Foundation.
