(KNSI) — Authorities are on the scene of a crash involving two semi trucks on eastbound Interstate 94 near Clearwater.

As of 12:45 p.m., at least one lane has opened, but traffic is backed up to Highway 24. Officials are encouraging drivers to find an alternate route.

Sergeant Jesse Grabow of the Minnesota State Patrol tells KNSI the driver of a westbound semi drove through the cable median barrier at mile post 181 and hit an eastbound semi head. One driver was hurt, but the injuries are considered non-life-threatening. Both drivers were wearing their seatbelt.

The crash remains under investigation.
