(KNSI) – A plow truck driver from Foley is being praised for helping stranded motorists.
The Foley Police Department wanted to give a huge thank you to Justin Lutze. Police say on Tuesday, Lutze was on his way into town to plow out a local business when he came across Foley officers helping the Minnesota State Patrol with vehicles in the ditch.
With the wait for tows being over an hour due to the weather, Lutze took time out of his day and helped pull the people out of the ditch.
The Foley Police Department reminds everyone to stay home if they can when the weather gets as bad as it has in the last couple of days. Police also remind drivers to turn on their headlights when it is snowing.
