(KNSI) — The City of St. Cloud has declared a snow emergency as a large and slow moving winter storm system has dumped several inches of snow around central Minnesota.
City officials say effective at 12:01 a.m. Thursday, January 5th, the snow emergency will be in effect for 72 hours unless rescinded due to favorable weather conditions and roads are plowed to full width.
Parking regulations will be enforced, and towing of illegally parked vehicles will start at 1:00 a.m. January 5th.
