(KNSI) – The Cee-VI Drug and Gang Task Force arrested three people Monday following a traffic stop in Willmar.
Agents located more than 200 fake oxycodone pills that were laced with fentanyl, over a half ounce of the drug in powdered form, and cash while searching the vehicle. In a press release put out by the Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office, it says one of the people arrested had an outstanding warrant for theft in Meeker County. The same person was out on bail related to two charges in Kandiyohi County.
The bust is the second in under two weeks to uncover fentanyl tainted fake oxycodone pills in Kandiyohi County. Over 900 were confiscated during a traffic stop in Eden Valley on December 22nd.
