(KNSI) – Organizers of the Country Lights Festival in Sartell are announcing a half-hour delay to the start of New Year’s Eve fireworks.
Originally scheduled for 7:00 p.m., the display will instead take place at 7:30 Saturday. Spokesman Chip Schwarzentraub says the change is meant to help clear confusion after multiple times for the show had been posted across various social media pages.
The fireworks are sponsored by CentraCare Chateau Waters senior apartment homes. The lights festival is set up at Lake Francis near the intersection of Pine Cove Road South and Scout Drive, next to Chateau Waters and the Sartell Community Center.
The Country Lights Festival features an extravagant set up of outdoor bulbs. Train rides and hot chocolate, along with other fun for the kids, will end on Friday evening and Saturday’s fireworks bring the festival to a close.
