(KNSI) — The Copper Lantern in St. Cloud is now accepting Thanksgiving meal orders from anyone who would like to donate one to a local family in need.
The restaurant is working with the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota to help find families who could use the extra hand. To be involved, go to the Copper Lantern’s website and type donate in the notes section of your order. All orders are due by Tuesday at midnight.
According to organizers, all the Thanksgiving classics are homemade and ready to reheat on Thanksgiving day. Meals will be picked up on Wednesday between 2:00 and 6:00 p.m., and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Central Minnesota will distribute them.

If you don’t feel like cooking, you can order a meal for yourself, too, from the Copper Lantern.
Other St. Cloud area restaurants also offer preordered meals for people who don’t feel like cooking on Thanksgiving. They include the Blue Line Sports Bar & Grill, Granite City Food & Brewery, and the Green Mill.
