(KNSI) — An estimated 200 community members and Dubow Textile, Inc. employees turned up at Lake George Sunday morning for the No Means No Awareness and Memorial Walk for Nicole Hammond.
Hammond worked at Dubow Textile in St. Cloud and was shot to death when she arrived for work the morning of October 24th. The suspect was a coworker reportedly upset over Hammond’s rejections of his romantic advances. He has been charged with second-degree murder.
Dubow teamed up with Anna Marie’s Alliance women’s shelter for the memorial walk. All proceeds will be donated to Anna Marie’s Alliance. The company is matching dollar for dollar up to $10,000.
