(KNSI) — St. Cloud representative Dan Wolgamott has won a third term in Minnesota House District 14B.

The incumbent Democrat got 7,652 (51.8%) votes to beat Republican Aaron Henning, who received 7,112 (48.14%) votes.

Wolgamott talked about winning the seat again. “Whether you voted for me or not, I appreciate your participation our democracy. And I’m proud to be a member of this community with every one of you. So thank you very much.”

He says his campaign focused on critical issues in his district and isn’t afraid to stand up to his party. “I think public safety, inflation, what’s being taught in our schools. But ultimately, people don’t mind if you can’t agree on 100% of the issues, but they care if you show up, you’re accountable, you listen and you’re not afraid to call your party out when they’re wrong.”

Wolgamott was first elected to the House in 2018.
