(KNSI) – Central Minnesota investigators are thanking the public for many recent tips involving the disappearance of a college student 20 years ago.

On the evening of November 9, 2002, Joshua Guimond went to a party with friends at the Metten Court dormitory at Saint John’s University in Collegeville. The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says Guimond has not been seen since.

Last month, the sheriff’s office released a series of pictures of people who may be able to help locate him. The photos are from Guimond’s computer. Each person has never been identified, and deputies hope at least one can provide some information explaining Guimond’s disappearance.

The unsolved crime was the topic of a recent “Unsolved Mysteries” episode on Netflix and the subject of a new investigative podcast called “Simply Vanished.”

Anyone with information regarding Joshua’s disappearance is encouraged to submit tips through the sheriff’s office website or call our office at 320-251-4240 and talk with Investigator Andy Struffert or Lieutenant Zach Sorenson.
