(KNSI) – Law enforcement agencies are imploring the public for help in solving the murder of Terrance “Terry” Brisk.
The case remains active, with the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office and Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension both involved.
Brisk was killed on November 7th, 2016, while hunting in Belle Prairie Township, about eight miles northeast of Little Falls. In a release, the sheriff says it is believed that Terry knew the person who shot and killed him. The two are thought to have been interacting while standing near each other and Brisk’s own rifle was used in the crime.
Investigators say they continue to review the evidence recovered in the case and they hope advances in technology will help them solve it. Brisk was only 41 years old when he died.
The sheriff’s office is asking the public for tips. The phone number is 320-632-9233. You can submit information anonymously through Crime Stoppers. Their website is here. They also operate a toll-free number (1-800-222-TIPS [8477]). Texting is an option. Send a message starting with TIP674 to 274637.
