In memory of Nicole Hammond, Dubow Textile Inc. is partnering with Anna Marie’s Alliance for the No Means No Awareness & Memorial Walk Sunday, November 13th. Prosecutors charged the suspect with second-degree murder in connection to the 28-year-old Hammond’s death after he allegedly shot her in the parking lot when she arrived for work the morning of October 24th. According to the criminal complaint, Hammond had repeatedly rejected his romantic advances in the month leading up to the shooting. The night before she was killed, she told him to leave her alone and “not to make things uncomfortable at work.” He allegedly admitted to officers he was upset about Hammond’s rejection the night before her death.
Bail was set at $4 million.
