(KNSI) – Crews will be continuing their work on St. Cloud’s Veterans Bridge into next week, through Wednesday, October 26th.
The span is located just north of downtown. It is down to one lane in either direction from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. each day. The restrictions begin at 1st Street North and 5th Avenue North, continuing across the Mississippi River to East St. Germain Street and Riverside Drive Northeast.
Crews work on one side and then divert a lane of traffic over the median line to create a makeshift two-lane road.
Possible detours include the Granite City Bridge, three blocks to the south. You can also use University Drive, which connects the Munsinger Gardens with the campus of Saint Cloud State University.
