(6-1) Sauk Rapids-Rice 33, Moorhead 20: The Storm bounces back after their first loss of the season by controlling a matchup with Moorhead. SR-R had leads of 21-0 and 27-7 before putting it into cruise control late. Quarterback Keegan Patterson threw two touchdown passes, both to Andrew Harren and both from six yards out. Running back Shaun Walrath got 23 carries and picked up 144 yards and two scores on the ground.

Becker 49, (1-6) Apollo 0: Adam Jurek and Isaiah Gardner both scored twice for the Bulldogs. Becker hasn’t lost since Week Zero at ROCORI.

Bemidji 29, (1-6) Tech 13: Tech ran for 205 yards as a team, averaging over five yards per carry. Derek Cox-Payton was one of seven players to rush it. As the feature back, he was called on 19 times for 83 yards and two touchdowns. Bemidji scored twice in the fourth quarter to salt the game away. It was 14-13 entering the final frame.

(6-1) Milaca 40, Zimmerman 28: The Wolves passed to open up the running game Friday night as they jumped out to a two-score lead by the early third quarter. Quarterback Dylan Greninger found Peyton Hunt from 26 yards out and then the combo connected again for a 14-yard TD pass to make it 14-7. After Zimmerman tied it up, Jack Schoenborn struck on the ground from 41 yards out. In the third quarter, Greninger delivered another touchdown to Hunt for 69 yards. Schoenborn notched a second TD run, this time from 24 yards, for Milaca’s only 4th quarter score. Fullback Clay Anderson also found the end zone for the Wolves.

(3-4) Annandale 42, (5-2) Princeton 20: Cardinal quarterback Nick Walter threw for two touchdowns and ran for another as Annandale pulled away from the Tigers in the second half.

ROCORI and Sartell-St. Stephen had bye weeks.

(1-6) Holdingford 42, Montevideo 21: Congrats to the Huskers and coach Luke Mitchell on picking up their first win of the year. QB Drew Lange was 10-16 for 168 yards and two touchdowns. Running back Ryder Peterson was the only Holdingford player to go over 100 total yards on the ground. He also notched two touchdown scores.
