(KNSI) — A large fire Sunday at a Maple Grove greenhouse is now being investigated as possible arson.

The blaze broke out at Lynde’s Greenhouse at 3:25 a.m. Firefighters worked for several hours to get the fire under control and completely out. No injuries were reported, but the damage was substantial. The greenhouse is in a densely packed neighborhood and no other surrounding structures were involved.

According to Maple Grove police, they have identified five juveniles as persons of interest in the case and are looking for more information and help to find anyone else who may have taken part. Investigators say no arrests have been made, and no one has been charged.

Meanwhile, more than 100 volunteers came out to Lynde’s on Tuesday to help them move hundreds of poinsettia plants that would be left exposed to frost this week. Another greenhouse is taking the plants as the facility at Lynde’s was too badly damaged in the fire.
