High School Volleyball

ROCORI 3, Fergus Falls 0 (25-15, 25-6, 25-15): Kate Holthaus led the Spartans with 13 kills. Ava Hirschfeld served up 29 assists and Mya Iten secured nine digs in the straight set win.

Willmar 3, Sauk Rapids-Rice 0 (25-27, 20-25, 16-25): The Cardinals stay undefeated in the Central Lakes Conference, squeaking by the Storm Thursday. Ava Athman slammed down 10 kills for Sauk Rapids and Lexi Helmin added 10 blocks.

Cathedral 3, Milaca 1 (25-17, 26-24, 24-26, 25-13): The Crusaders improve to 11-6 behind 22 kills from Kayla Sexton. Brielle Rothstein added nine. Defensively, Ellie Klinefelter recorded 16 digs and Olivia Prom notched 12.

Albany 3, Foley 0 (25-14, 25-15, 25-20)
No scores reported for Apollo at Alexandria and Brainerd at St. Cloud Tech.

Boys Soccer

ROCORI 2, Central Minnesota Christian 0: Tayden Metzger scored twice for the Spartans.

Sauk Rapids-Rice 4, Willmar 2: Lief Rudnick notched two goals, while Sam Olmscheid and Cooper Godwin added one each for the Storm. Josh Tapio had nine saves in net.

Cathedral 11, St. John’s Prep 1: Jack Stang tallied a hat trick, while Mason Layne and Lucas Hanson had two goals apiece for Cathedral. Chris Lu the only score for St. John’s.
