(KNSI) – Flannel Fest is scheduled for Saturday at the Ledge Amphitheatre in Waite Park, the area’s own version of Oktoberfest. Facilities Event Coordinator Samantha Coulter says it comes with a Minnesota twist.
“We’re gonna have local breweries come in and sample their beers from 4:00 to 6:00. We also are gonna have games and contests happening from 4:00 to 7:00. We’re gonna have a best-dressed contest, best beard contest, a sign holding contest, and then the other games around the event are like Plinko and Wheel of Fortune.”
There will also be a bags tournament. Coulter says there will be lots of entertainment on the stage as well.
“From 5:30 to 7:00 we are going to have Dale Dahman and the Polka Beats on stage playing live polka music and we’re excited to get up and dance to that. We are going to have Deer Camp The Musical play from 7:30 to 10:00.”
General Admission tickets are $45. A link to purchase them is here.
