(KNSI) — The Stearns County Parks Department says Lake Wobegon Trail users need to be on the lookout for maintenance crews for the next few weeks.
Starting September 28th, crack filling will take place along the entire trail, and there will be culvert repairs between County Road 2 and County Road 3 in St. Joseph. The portion undergoing culvert repairs will be closed. Weather permitting, the section from Sauk Centre west to the county line will also be closed starting September 30th for air patching and seal coating.
The closed section will be marked. Parks department officials say seal coating will take time to dry, so users need to stay off the closed sections of the trail.
