(KNSI) — Road work, utility work and an event will cause lane and road closures around St. Cloud over the next couple of weeks.
Starting Tuesday, September 27th, there will be some road work in the area of the intersection of County Road 74 and 24th Street South. The St. Cloud Public Services Department says the two streets will be under a flagging operation while the work is going on. A press release from the department says through traffic will be maintained, but drivers can expect delays and should find an alternate route, if possible. The work should lift on Wednesday, September 28th.
On Friday, September 30th, West St. Germain Street between 8th Avenue and 10th Avenue will be closed due to an event. Times for the closure were not given, but drivers should find an alternate route and parking situation.
Monday, October 3rd through Friday, November 4th, 4th Avenue South between Highway 23 and 3rd Street South will be closed due to road work in the area. Detours will be posted.
Starting on Thursday, October 13th through Tuesday, October 18th, the northbound traffic lanes of 33rd Avenue North will be closed from Division Street to 1st Street North due to utility work in the area. The work was originally scheduled for Wednesday, October 5th through October 10th.
All of the work is weather permitting, of course.
