(KNSI) – Widespread frost is expected across central Minnesota on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.
The National Weather Service says temperatures will drop to as low as 32 degrees across the region. The frost advisory is in effect from midnight to 8:00 a.m.
Officials say to cover sensitive plants or take them inside tonight. Temperatures should moderate starting Wednesday, with another frost looking unlikely this week.
The average first 32-degree night usually hits the St. Cloud area on September 27th.
