(KNSI) – The Central Minnesota Community Foundation has a new Director of Community Impact.
CMCF is welcoming KoriAnn Carter to its team this week. She says, “I am excited to continuously work in and within my community to make equitable change. Not only am I excited to see the change, but I’m also thrilled to be a part of it. I love my community and I have strived to give it all that I have in the most positive way possible.”
As Director of Community Impact, Carter will be responsible for programming, coordinating competitive grant rounds, assessing community needs, building relationships within the community, and supporting local initiatives.
According to a press release, Carter has a background in working for nonprofit organizations and was most recently the social equity program officer for the Morgan Family Foundation.
Her experience also includes founding the GOATS – Girls on Arise to Succeed program in St. Cloud, where she held the position of community mentor and program coordinator for the United Way of Central Minnesota. Carter has also worked as a paraprofessional for the St. Cloud School District 742.
