(KNSI) -Just before noon Thursday, the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office and several fire departments responded to a blaze at a rural property in Maine Prairie Township.
The home was left untouched but a large pole shed nearby was completely engulfed when the first engines arrived. The owners, Joshua Bruce Fischer and Kate Elizabeth Fischer, were not home at the time.
Inside the residence was the couple’s daughter, who was being watched by her grandmother. Neither were injured. Assisting Kimball Fire were crews from the Rockville, South Haven, and Watkins Departments.
The cause of the fire is being investigated by the State Fire Marshall’s Office.
