(KNSI) – An apprenticeship program wants to meet with St. Cloud area businesses struggling to find workers.
The Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry is holding a workforce community conversation next Thursday, September 22nd, at 10:30 a.m. at the Great River Regional Library. The state will be talking about its Minnesota Dual-Training Pipeline program.
The program supports companies by teaching employees the necessary skills. Workers get a combination of instruction and on-the-job training in advanced manufacturing, agriculture, health care services and information technology.
According to a press release, finding talent in today’s tight labor market is challenging for many employers, including those throughout the St. Cloud area. Dual training is a potential solution.
Employers can RSVP for the event by calling 1-651-284-5353.
