Construction Underway at St. Cloud Dunkin’ Donuts

(KNSI) – Dunkin’ Donuts is nearing a return to the St. Cloud area.

Originally set to open in Sartell near Walgreen’s, that parcel has been sold to Scooter’s Coffee, which hopes to open there by the end of the year. Instead, a Dunkin’ franchisee settled on an outlot at the Midtown Square Mall, which faces both Division Street and 33rd Avenue North.

Groundbreaking at the site happened recently. The Dunkin’ shop sits on an 18,000-square-foot parcel and will have a drive-through on the north side of the building, in addition to indoor seating.

The city gave final approval for the store in April. No official opening date for the Dunkin’ Donuts site has been announced.
