(KNSI) – A woman was killed in a rear-end crash with a semi-truck in Todd County near Swanville. The crash was reported around 8:45 a.m. Tuesday.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a 55-year-old woman from Burtrum was headed east on Highway 27 near County Road 219 where she collided with a semi driven by a 20-year-old man from Freeport.
Investigators say the woman died in the crash. Her name will be released on Tuesday, pending the notification of her family. The accident remains under investigation.
