(KNSI) – A St. Cloud man is accused of stabbing a McDonald’s manager during a melee inside the restaurant.
Police were called to the fast food chain at 2120 Division Street West on Saturday night after a fight between 19-year-old Arieon Smith and several other people broke out. Investigators say the video showed Smith stabbing the male manager once in the chest.
According to court records, Smith admitted getting into a fight with McDonald’s staff and stabbing a person. Smith also said he couldn’t remember what he did with the knife after the attack.
Smith has been charged in Stearns County District Court with 2nd-degree assault with a dangerous weapon.
