(KNSI) – A Willmar-area man suffered minor injuries Saturday morning when he drove his station wagon into a semi truck.
The accident occurred at 9:06 in Brooten. 43-year-old Jason Arends was heading north on Eastern Avenue when he failed to stop at the intersection with Roe Street.
Arends ran into the side of the truck’s trailer, which was loaded with sweet corn at the time. The semi was operated by 66-year-old Gerald Hesse of Meeker County.
Brooten Fire and Ambulance, Minnesota State Patrol, and the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office responded to the accident.
