(KNSI) — The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch in effect until midnight for the counties shaded in yellow.
A watch means conditions are favorable for all modes of severe weather including tornadoes. High winds, hail, frequent lightning and heavy rain are all possible with this system.
Please have a way to get warnings and have a plan for where to go and what to do in the event of a tornado warning.
