(KNSI) — Today is National Dog Day, so it’s only appropriate that the winner of the 2022 Transportation Security Administrations Cutest Canine Contest was announced.
The winner is Eebbers, who works for the TSA at Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport. Eebbers is 11 years old and has worked with the TSA at MSP since 2015. He was born into the TSA’s Puppy Program and is the last and oldest one from that program to still work daily for the TSA.
The voting was done via social media. Eebbers beat out Tom-Magnum who works at JFK Airport in New York.
Eebbers was going up against 92 other dogs for the title and will be on the cover of the TSA canine calendar for 2023.
He will officially retire next week.
