(KNSI) — Tickets are on sale for the 6th annual St. Cloud Craft Beer and Ciderfest on September 10th at Dick Putz Field.
Event organizer Cole Erie says this year’s CiderFest will have a patriotic theme.
“With having the event on the same weekend as 9/11 it was just a natural theme to tie into the event. So, attendees please come in your red, white, and blue gear. Dig out those Fourth of July outfits and throw them on to wear to the event.”
Around 50 brands with more than 200 samples will compete for one of four awards voted on by the people. Erie says everyone will be able to vote with their phone.
“Voting is all done online now. We offer digital programs. So, when you get to the event, there’ll be QR codes plastered everywhere. You can pull out the camera on your phone, scan that QR code and then you can get a digital copy of the map and then you can also do all of the voting as well.”
VIPs can vote for the best specialty beer in the Brewers Cup Competition. Everyone votes on three people’s choice awards for Best Brewery, Best Cidery, and Best Cider.
VIP Tickets are $55, and general admission is $30. Attendants can save $10 by getting their tickets ahead of time at Corborn’s and Cashwise locations. People can also save $5 by purchasing tickets online.
Part of the ticket proceeds will go to the Beautiful Mind Projects, which helps people struggling with mental health.
It is the first time the event has been held since 2019 due to the coronavirus pandemic. For more information on the event, click here.
