(KNSI) – The City of Saint Cloud will begin seal coat improvements on several high-traffic stretches of road on Wednesday, September 7th.
Work is expected on 25th Avenue North from Veterans Drive to 12th Street North. Crews will be patching 33rd Street South between County Road 75 and Heritage Drive, as well as from Oakham Lane to County Road 74. Through traffic will continue during the coating, but delays are possible, and taking an alternate route is advised.
Seal coating keeps water and sunlight from breaking down asphalt surfaces, prolonging the life of the road. The full list of projects is below.
– Glenn Carlson Drive from Opportunity Drive to 60th Street South
– 25th Avenue North from 8th Street N/Veterans Drive to 12th Street North
– 33rd Street South from CSAH 75 to Heritage Drive
– 33rd Street South from Oakham Lane to County Road 74
– County Road 74 from 33rd Street South to 800 feet north of 33rd Street South
