(KNSI) – The Central Minnesota Human Trafficking Task Force is detailing the impact it has made in the region since it was created in 2018.

The group has investigated over 100 cases, leading to 44 felony charges. The task force has provided support for 239 victims in that same timeframe. The success is thanks to 350 tips provided by the public. There is a new video highlighting the threat to central Minnesota communities from human trafficking.

It also focuses on how your child could be targeted, especially through the internet. Any group interested in the subject can reach out to representatives from the task force’s different organizations to request the presentation.
