(KNSI) — Monday is the last day to donate school supplies to the St. Cloud Community Outpost.
The police department will accept items until 7:00 p.m. Donations can be dropped off at the COP House, 600 13th Street South, or the St. Cloud Police Department. Officials are asking for crayons, colored pencils, erasers, folders, glue sticks, highlighters, notebooks, pencils, pens, and pencil sharpeners. The supplies will go to families who are struggling to afford the necessities.
Last week, the COP House got a donation of 300 backpacks thanks to St. Cloud Subaru. They will be filled with supplies and given to needy families on Thursday. There are no requirements or costs. The giveaway will also include food and fun activities. It runs from 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at the COP House.
