(KNSI) – Police are investigating after a man was violently attacked at a home in Sauk Rapids.
Police were called to the 1000-block of Benedict Drive for a stabbing on Friday afternoon. Officers say they found the victim in front of a nearby home. Police gave medical care until an ambulance arrived and took the man to St. Cloud Hospital. According to a press release, the man suffered serious injuries.
After several hours of investigation, police arrested three suspects. A 20-year-old man was taken to jail on suspicion of 1st-degree assault. A 25-year-old woman and a 50-year-old woman were also arrested for allegedly aiding and abetting.
All there were taken to the Benton County Jail and awaiting formal charges. Police say the three suspects and the victim are known to each other.
