Bloomington Police confirmed shots had been fired, but a location inside the mall was not mentioned.
Witness accounts inside the mall say it appears a fight escalated into a shooting.
Bloomington Police say the lockdown has been lifted as of 5:45 p.m. and that the scene is secure. They say the suspect fled the mall and no victims have been found. The mall will be closed for the remainder of the evening.
