(KNSI) — St. Cloud has approved the plans for a new 110-unit development and set a public hearing.

The council unanimously approved plans for 110 units to be built in south St. Cloud in the Stone Gate West development, just north of the new Tech High School.

A public hearing will be held at the city council meeting on August 8th. Plans call for 48 townhomes and 18 twin homes to be built in the 3000 block of County Road 74. The project would also include a future phase with no more than 44 single-family homes.

St. Cloud’s planning commission recommended approval. The item was listed in St. Cloud’s consent agenda.
