(KNSI) — Police say a second arrest has been made following a shooting near Lake George Tuesday night.
Police took an 18-year-old St. Cloud man into custody Thursday, one day after a 17-year-old suspect was arrested. The man has been booked into the Stearns County jail, awaiting formal charges of second-degree assault, reckless discharge of a firearm, and carrying a gun without a permit.
St. Cloud police responded to shots fired near Lake George just after 6:00. They detained a group of people and officers learned someone shot at a person in a car. The target of the shooting was not hurt.
The teen has been charged with second-degree assault, reckless discharge of a firearm, carrying a gun without a permit, and being an ineligible person not to possess firearms. He was taken to the Stearns County jail before being transferred to a juvenile detention facility.
