(KNSI) — Smoke from Canadian wildfires will move across Minnesota Wednesday.
The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency says northerly winds behind a passing cold front have pulled the smoke from northwest Manitoba and northern Saskatchewan into the region. The smoke is not expected to be heavy and should dissipate by the evening hours.
The air quality will be moderate on Wednesday, which can be bothersome for some people, but an air quality alert is not expected to be issued.
