(KNSI) – A toddler suffered severe injuries after falling off a lawn mower while mowing with her mother.
The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office was called for a medical emergency involving a 21-month-old in the 146th block of 615th Avenue in rural Hutchinson. Deputies say Amanda Carter was on the mower with her daughter when the child fell off the lawn mower and suffered serious cuts to her forearm and hand.
The child was taken to the Hutchinson hospital and later flown to North Memorial Hospital by helicopter. The incident is currently under investigation.
