(KNSI) – Registration is now open for two Stearns County Youth Safety Camps that take place next week.
The camps will be in Holdingford on July 12th and Sauk Centre on July 13th. Each camp is limited to 30 kids and there is no charge.
Deputy Sheriff Brian Theisen says the camp is meant for kids between eight and 12 years old and teaches kids about many topics while providing demonstrations from the K9 officers and the fire department.
The sessions are weather dependent and a make-up date has already been scheduled if necessary.
Food and refreshments are provided by department staff.
