(KNSI) – The public is invited to enjoy a pint and a tour of St. Cloud’s stormwater system and recent water improvement projects.
Cheers to Clean Water: Get to Know Your H20! is July 21st from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. According to the public works department, the tour covers what happens to rain after it hits the ground, how St. Cloud keeps its waterways clean and gives a sneak peek of what’s under the streets.
The tour will feature rain gardens, native plantings, a street sweeper demonstration, storm drain art and a view of the underground using TV viewing equipment. The tour will conclude at Pantown Brewery with food, beer and discussion.
Participants will drive to the sites. More directions will be sent via email after registration. Registration includes the tour, a light dinner and a beer from Pantown Brewery in St. Cloud.
