(KNSI) – A woman suffered multiple injuries in an ATV crash in Morrison County. First responders were called around 8:15 on Saturday night.
The sheriff’s office says a 35-year-old woman was driving a Polaris Ranger side-by-side on Woodchuck Trail, about four miles north of Randall, when the driver tried maneuvering around a tree branch on the roadway. Investigators say the tires caught the edge of the paved trail, causing the ATV to go into the ditch and roll.
Authorities say 28-year-old Jennifer Hauer of Randall was a passenger and suffered multiple injuries. She was taken by Life Link helicopter to Hennepin County Medical Center for treatment. Her condition wasn’t released.
Investigators say alcohol was a factor in the crash. The accident remains under investigation.
