(KNSI) — A local business has earned an ethics award from the Better Business Bureau.
St. Cloud-based Preferred Credit, Inc./PCI took home the Torch Award for the third time in the 51-175 employee category. The Torch Award for Ethics “recognizes leading area businesses that uphold the highest standards and display an outstanding level of ethics and integrity, in every aspect of their day-to-day operations,” according to a press release from the BBB.
PCI is a family-owned company that provides financing to the direct sales industry. Chief Financial Officer Joe Bergstrom said their mission is rooted in ethics. “Embedded in our mission and vision are two key points; relationship focus and stability. Which without ethics and integrity neither would be successful. Thank you to the BBB for this recognition but most importantly thank you for holding us accountable to ethics and integrity.”
Nearly 300 business owners and community leaders attended the ceremony.
