(KNSI) – Foley Fun Days is billed for early next week, but that hasn’t stopped some activities from already kicking off. President Juanita Beauchamp says garage sales are underway and they typically reach their peak on Saturday morning.
Friday evening at the Foley Library, there will be a Tyco Art event at 5:00. Beauchamp runs down the other activities over the weekend.
“The Kids Bicycle Safety Rodeo is on Saturday at the Lions Park. That is from 10:00 to 1:00 and that’s for ages 10 and under. And then we have the Foley Ambassador coronations, which is at the high school auditorium and that’s at 6:00 p.m.”
Monday is the first official day of fun. This year’s event will happen at various sites downtown due to construction. Cards and athletics make up a majority of the calendar.
“So, Monday we do have a 500 going on at the Legion in Foley, that’s at 2:00 p.m. We do have a 5K run/walk. Registration starts at 4:30 and it starts at 6:00.”
