(KNSI) – The Greater St. Cloud Development Corporation (GSDC) is seeking nominations for its 11th annual Innovation Awards.
The awards were created to recognize originality among non-profit and for-profit organizations in Benton, Sherburne and Stearns County. The deadline for submission is Friday, July 22nd.
The GSDC defines innovation as a new product, service, practice, technology or business model with a fresh take on solving a challenge that has added revenue for the business or organization.
Since the awards started, 52 organizations have been recognized for their innovative approaches to problem-solving and creating opportunities.
“The Greater St. Cloud area has an abundance of innovators who quietly develop new ways to benefit the region and even the world,” said Leslie Dingmann, GSDC Business Development Director. “Our Innovation Awards are here to shine light on those innovators. We invite anyone who is creating new solutions to apply for this year’s awards. Or, if they’re too busy working on their innovations, we hope others will nominate someone they see as deserving of such recognition.”
Four Innovation Awards will be presented on November 3rd. Each winner will get a $1,000 award. To apply, click here.
