Pet Evolution Opens First Franchise Location In St. Cloud

(KNSI) – St. Cloud is playing a pivotal role in the expansion plans for a new company. Pet Evolution has two corporate locations elsewhere, but its first franchise store is located in the heart of the Granite City. It opened this past weekend at 2716 West Division Street.

Franchisee Scot Ziessman says he is already planning a Blaine location as well. The company hopes to penetrate other Minnesota markets soon and has eyes on Wisconsin and Illinois. Pet Evolution has three drawing points. It sells healthy, alternative dog and cat food, does full-service animal grooming, and operates self-service washing stations through a membership service.

The average store is 3,300 square feet and Pet Evolution requires a minimum investment of just under $500,000 to open a new store. The company says it encourages people with prior experience to apply first, but anyone who meets the requirements can put in a bid.
