(KNSI) — With temperatures in the upper 70s and 80s to near 90 this coming weekend, parents and kids may be daydreaming about whiling away the hours at area splash pads, but at least one will be out of commission for the time being.
The City of Waite Park says the opening of the splash pad at River’s Edge Park is delayed due to mechanical issues.
A post on the city’s Facebook page says they hope to be open in the next week or two and keep checking back for updates.
Meanwhile, the City of St. Cloud says the water is running at its three splash pads. There are special hours for the Westwood location due to school still being in session.
